Use the included 1000 CC oxygen absorbers for long-term storage. Use 1 absorber / bag.
- 7 mil thick mylar zip seal bags are the best choice for bulk long-term storage. Don’t take chances by using low-grade, thin “metalized” bags.
- Our thick 7 mil film with a true inner aluminum metal layer provides the highest level of protection needed for long term storage and reduces the risk of accidental puncture due to abrasion. If you can see light through your bag film, the quality is low and not suitable for long-term storage.
- Use our trusted, proven, high quality bags to meet all of your long term dry storage requirements.
- Add a 1000 CC oxygen absorber and heat seal with a flat iron/hair straightener / clothes iron / impulse sealer or simply use the zip seal as a temporary seal for short term storage. Heat sealing ensures the best long term protection.
- Zip seal allows for convenient resealing when you only need part of the contents and is better choice than 5 gallon bags since you don’t have to open as much at once. When filling, you can partially fill the bag and close temporarily until you are ready to add more.
